The Cinco Christmas Tree Stand is your ultimate companion for easy tree installation. Its wide opening and long bolts can accommodate trees with bent or crooked trunks, ensuring your tree stands upright with ease. This is a unique feature not found in other brands.
Size Matters: A Guide Based on Tree Height
- Trees from 3ft to 5ft: These are the easiest to install, and can usually be set up by one person.
- Trees 6ft to 7ft: The task becomes a bit more challenging. It might still be a one-person job, but an extra pair of hands can be helpful.
- Trees 8ft and taller: These trees are the most challenging and should be set up by two people. For larger trees (10ft and above), we recommend placing a pallet beneath the stand for added stability and safety.
Remember, if you’re new to setting up a Christmas tree, it’s wise to have a helper regardless of the tree’s size.
Keep it Clean: Preparation and Cleanup
Installation can get a bit messy! Have a broom handy for easy cleanup after setting up your tree. If you’re installing on a carpet, consider placing a blanket underneath to catch any fallen needles. A small rug or fabric under the stand will protect your floor from scratches and any water spills.
Pro Tip: Keep the Net On
All our trees come netted. Keep the net on during installation to make the process easier. Once the tree is secure in the stand, you can cut off the net and let the branches fall naturally into place.
Fresh Cut for a Fresh Start
While all our trees are freshly cut on the delivery day, it’s recommended to saw off a small slice of the trunk before placing it into the stand. This can help the tree absorb water better, especially early in the season, ensuring it stays fresher for longer lasting till Christmas day.

No One Home? No Problem!
You don’t need to be home for us to deliver and install your tree. If you’ve purchased a Cinco stand from us or if you leave your own stand outside on the delivery day, our driver will install the tree for you. When you get home, simply move your pre-installed tree to your desired location. Remember to leave 1 or 2 liters of water in a bucket for your thirsty tree.
Safe Installation With Cinco Stand
For a smooth and efficient installation, a Cinco stand is highly recommended. These stands, known for their quality and ease of use, can hold trees upright even with a bent or crooked trunk. You may purchase a Cinco stand during your order or provide a good working stand from a previous season. Please note that our drivers reserve the right to refuse installation if the provided stand is not a Cinco stand or not in working condition.
Safety First
We prioritise the safety of our drivers. Please ensure that the premises are safe for our driver to enter. Our drivers can refuse entry and installation if they deem the location unsafe.
Parking Space
Help us help you by reserving a parking spot for our delivery vehicle upon arrival. This saves time for the driver and speeds up the installation process, avoiding delays for other customers eagerly awaiting their Christmas tree delivery. This is particularly important in inner Melbourne where parking can be hard to find.
Post-Installation Care
Prepare a broom and water to clean up any falling needles during installation and to add water to the stand after installation. Ideally, 3 liters of water should be added to the stand post-installation. We also recommend placing a blanket under the stand to protect your floor.
